Pro.guiding

Pro.Guiding is a web platform, realized within the project KA2 EDU.Guidance co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program and with an innovative approach related to educational guidance.

This result has been designed with the aim of reaching many more students, families and school staff who have not been direct participants in the project.

It will have a direct impact on the educational community as a large number of users will be able to benefit from its contents and have a very complete information about academic studies to follow and their own aptitudes.

Educational guidance is an interdisciplinary and interprofessional field that is constantly nourished by innovations in other areas of psycho-pedagogical knowledge.

Pro.Guiding is the beating heart of the project, the fruit of research and comparison between partners. It will approach the guidance process in a friendly and attractive way for the students, inviting young people to reflect, discover and explore their environment through different contexts and to make informed decisions about their academic and professional future.

The added value lies in the possibility of interaction and development that we offer to the users who make use of the published material.

The portal, in addition to giving the possibility to send comments and suggestions, will enable each registered user to propose new materials, useful to improve the guidance process, to upload experiments and good practices, a real collaborative platform for collaboration that will continue to exist even after the closure of the project.

The portal will also host a section dedicated to secondary schools, where all the schools that decide to experiment and adopt our product will be inserted.

MAD for Europe

MAD for Europe is an international organization, active in the labour market and the fields of Education, Training and Youth Culture. Our paths are focused on social work and voluntary services, education, training and promotion of new technologies, culture and art. We realize that our goal is the educational and professional growth of the person, whether young or old, for this we have a great experience.

MAD for Europe is based in Madrid, the cultural centre and economic engine of Spain, also known for being very open and welcome to outsiders making you feel right at home. It is one of the most liveable cities of all Europe.We have also presence in Andalusia, since it is a land where we move very well, for its climate, its long days, its cuisine and its attractive culture, specifically in 3 of its main cities Cordoba, Malaga and Seville.

Among our functions, you can find the management and implementation of projects in order to encourage citizen participation, European mobility, youth exchanges, the realization of a wide range of specialized training courses, support for young unemployed, reintegration of people with inclusion problems in our society, language training and the promotion of the artistic and historical heritage.

Platon is a forward-looking school. The school pursues developments in the field of education with great interest and creativity. It is constantly setting new objectives while maintaining a leading position on the educational scene.

The Platon schools (Pre-school - Primary - Secondary - Lifelong Learning Centre) are a modern educational institution with 550 pupils and 90 employees, thanks to the use of modern facilities, a varied and up-to-date curriculum, experienced and trained teaching staff and, most importantly experienced and trained teaching staff and, most importantly, through consistency of principles and respect for pupils and parents.

The values of our school are: the cultivation of a critical spirit by providing knowledge through individual and group creation; the formation of character, the support of social values and healthy living. We believe in a school of work, collaboration and active participation of pupils, teachers and parents.

GoINNO

GoINNO Institute is an NGO (a non-profit private organisation) dedicated to science outreach and STEM education. GoINNO Institute’s goal is to increase the awareness of STEM importance and to excite the young generation to start loving science and maybe someday pursue their studies in the STEM area.

By offering students a positive experience in the STEM area more talents can be discovered and more of them can realise what lights a spark in their eyes and draws a big smile on their faces.

Our biggest passion is explaining science to lay audiences. Therefore, we are developing programmes and curricula for teaching science to kindergarten, primary and secondary school teachers and children.

We have also started to develop STEM distance learning materials from the beginning of the Corona pandemic therefore, GoINNO Institute has all the necessary equipment to film high-quality videos and other multimedia contents for distance learning.

EPROMAT is a public school, located in the city of Matosinhos. It is situated in the north of Portugal and in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula, on the right side of the Douro River. This school aims to improve the quality not only in pedagogical aspects but also to provide a better school for its students.

EPROMAT offers vocational courses for young people in various areas such as Multimedia, Digital Marketing, Tourism, Window Dressing and IT Network Management. As we are a vocational school, in all our courses, students have a training period in real companies.

EPROMAT students have the opportunity to improve and acquire new knowledge and skills, giving them the possibility to get in touch with new ways of work organisation, as well as to broaden their professional, personal and cultural horizons.

EPROMAT has been in existence for 27 years as a secondary training school. In 2016 we have received the Mobility Charter for Vocational Training, and since 2017, they are implementing the application for the EQAVET.

The very informal and friendly school atmosphere, created on the basis of the work developed by the students through participation in school projects and work competitions, as well as constant study visits abroad and internships abroad, provides an above-average standard.

EPROMAT

Italy for EU

Italy for EU is a European non-profit organization that pursues social solidarity objectives and operates in the fields of training, non-formal education, volunteering, sustainable tourism and youth. We manage and organize projects to stimulate active citizenship, European mobility and youth exchanges; we coordinate different types of professional training courses, we offer a listening desk service for unemployed young people and the reintegration of young people into society.

Italy for EU firmly believes in the possibilities offered by European programs, such as Erasmus + and in the cooperation between European partners for the development of ever new educational methods and stimulating knowledge through unique life experiences. The organization’s goal is to promote cultural activities and exchanges in Italy and Europe, favoring non-formal learning and addressing issues that can help tackle the problems of modern society.

Italy for EU is made up of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team that promotes interculturality and the values of equality, respect and solidarity. The organization actively participates in the organization of local events related to the spread of a healthy lifestyle; we want to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit in young people, creative thinking and tolerance.

IES Pedro Salinas is located in Usera, a working-class neighbourhood in the south of Madrid. Since September 2016, it has become a Bilingual School, which is now extended to pupils in the four years of Compulsory
students in the four years of Compulsory Education, and in the coming years it will be extended to the Upper Secondary Education levels.

This school offers Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) to pupils mainly from 12 to 16 years of age, and non-compulsory Secondary Education (Bachillerato in the Spanish Education System, and equivalent to Spanish Education System, and equivalent to A-Levels in Great Britain) for pupils aged 16 to 18. There is also an afternoon shift for adult students with an evening timetable.

The total number of pupils (12-18 years) in the school is 771. There are 584 students in ESO and 187 in Bachillerato. Within ESO there are 27 pupils with special educational needs (27 pupils) distributed as follows (27 pupils) distributed as follows: 11 in 1st year, 10 in 2nd year, 3 in 3rd year and 1 in 4th year. There are also 66 pupils in Compensatory Education Programmes. There are also 7 pupils attending a special classroom for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in the four years of Compulsory Education.

Usera, the neighbourhood where the school is located, has undergone a major transformation over the last 15 years, following the arrival of a large number of immigrants, mainly from South America, mainly from South America. However, since 2011 there has been an increase in the number of Chinese people, as Usera has become the main Chinese settlement in Madrid. As a result, the neighbourhood has become an important multicultural area where more than 20 different nationalities live.
