EXPLANATION OF THE ACTIVITIES WITH STUDENTS

The group activity called “Google Classroom” involved a methodology that has been tested with 3rd grade students of gymnaseum. This grade level was chosen as the students would be making decisions about their future education and careers in the following year.

The methodology involved the use of Google Classroom as an online tool for teachers and students to access materials related to the preperation for lessons for next class. While the testing period was short, the mentor and partner school were able to set up a Google Classroom where materials on homeworks for the next time's lesson were uploaded.

In addition, a Google Form was created for students to transfer their in – class work into an format, which could be accessed later for review or other purposes.

REPORT ABOUT STUDENT’S FEEDBACKS

Students were encouraged to explore various learning paths in an engaging and
enjoyable way. They responded overwhelmingly positively to the activities, were
updated on their tasks in a timely manner, without the excuse of not knowing what
they had, and demonstrated their ability with digital tools at their age.

Through this activity, the students also realized how easy it is now for anyone to be able to attend classes with the aim of finishing school, when there are difficulties in commuting etc. The combination of engaging content with digital technology proved to be an extremely effective means of learning.
