EXPLANATION OF THE ACTIVITIES WITH STUDENTS

The activity called "Job Orientation" was applied to the 10th grade Tourism class. The 14 participants performed the activity in the classroom and were supervised by a teacher. Our students chose to analyse 6 professions associated with Tourism: Flight attendant, Travel agent, Sommelier, Tour guides, Hotel Manager and Hotel Housekeeper.

The Tourism course is very practical, and that is why, as early as the 1st year, our students have direct contact with various professionals. In this sense, in several questions the students focused on this knowledge. On specific issues such as the knowledge and skills required for the profession, the students needed to do more research and had the support of a technical teacher.

Students actively cooperated in the implementation of this activity. They felt that this was a dynamic and useful activity to learn more about the professional opportunities associated with their field of studies.
