EXPLANATION OF THE ACTIVITIES WITH STUDENTS

The activity called “Gaming Lego” involved Lego bricks as the main tool. The participants, a group of 13 students, were divided into four groups and each group received a set of Lego bricks.
The activity was designed to help students explore different professions and encourage teamwork. Before starting the group activity, students completed some short individual Lego challenges such as building something from the city or a car or an animal. The challenges were drawn randomly by each participant and completed within their respective groups.
The second part of the activity focused on group work and each group was assigned a specific profession. They worked together to create a joint product that represented their group. The final products were presented to the whole group and information was exchanged.
Lego blocks are not typically used for educational purposes in the school system and are mainly reserved for free time activities where children are left to their own imagination. As a result, the basic Lego blocks borrowed from younger students were used instead.
The activity was adapted to make it more interesting and engaging for the participants by preparing 25 different Lego challenges for them to complete individually.

REPORT ABOUT STUDENT’S FEEDBACKS

The students showed a high level of interest and excitement in the Lego activity. Lego blocks were familiar and nostalgic to most of the students, and they used their
creativity effectively in both individual and group challenges. Our students enjoyed
the activity and expressed a desire for more time to work with Lego blocks. They also asked for lessons to be made with Lego in future.
The Lego activity was effective in promoting cooperation and communication among the students, as well as between the students and the teachers. Lego blocks provided an ideal medium for facilitating teamwork and helping students to connect with one another.
