EXPLANATION OF THE ACTIVITIES WITH STUDENTS

The activity called "Social Media Based Guidance" has been done with twenty one students during a lesson.
 

In the current school year, EPROMAT is working on the theme of mental health. In this sense, and underlying the theme, we decided to develop this activity with a focus on bullying.
 

To check the students' level of knowledge on the subject, a pre-test was implemented. Then, in order to prepare them for the activities and promote their knowledge on the subject, was shown a video about the theme.
 

In a first instance, and after dividing them into groups, the students were challenged to define the concept of bullying. After the group discussion, they proceed to the second stage of the exercise, the analysis of the different types.
 

This analysis was done by describing in 3 words each kind of bullying. Then, they were challenged to imagine some campaigns for the prevention of bullying.
 

At the end, they proceeded to the post-test.

REPORT ABOUT STUDENT’S FEEDBACKS

​

Students exposed that this activity was useful because it allowed them to adopt a greater consciousness about this subject. Also, they were able to share personal experiences, which enabled the creation of fundamental soft skills such as communication, active listening and empathy.
